Free visual inspection and a written scope of work before any mitigation begins - photos, moisture readings, and drying logs go in your claim file
The scope we write is the scope we bill. Anything new gets shown to you, in writing, before we touch it.
Meet the Santa Clarita Team Behind DryMark Restoration Santa Clarita
We’re the crew that shows up when a pipe bursts at 2 a.m. in Saugus or mold creeps behind the drywall in a Valencia townhome built in ’94. Every person on this page has passed a background check, wears a uniform with a name tag, and carries a license number you can verify. What ties us together isn’t corporate training. It’s that we’ve all been the homeowner who needed someone to actually answer the phone.
Our People
Marcus T. - Lead Water Damage Technician
Marcus has been drying structures since 2014, starting with a flood restoration crew in Bakersfield before joining us in Santa Clarita. He holds IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certifications, and he’s the one who decides when a wall cavity needs Injectidry tubing versus full flood-cut removal. He can read a psychrometric chart the way some people read a menu, and he’ll explain vapor pressure differential in plain terms if you ask, though he usually just says “the air wants the moisture and we’re gonna help it get there.” Off the job, he restores vintage Honda motorcycles and has been trying to convince his wife to let him keep a third one in the garage for two years now.
Dana R. - Senior Mold Remediation Installer
Dana came to us from a commercial abatement background in the San Fernando Valley, where she spent six years containing asbestos and lead before specializing in microbial remediation. She’s certified in IICRC Mold Remediation (AMRT) and knows the Santa Clarita Valley’s particular problem: the hot, dry Santa Ana winds blow spores into attic spaces where they sit dormant until a roof leak or a bathroom vent failure gives them moisture. Dana built our containment protocol for occupied homes, the one where the family stays upstairs and we work downstairs without cross-contamination. She has a tattoo of a negative air machine on her ankle. She says it was a bet. She won’t say with who.
Javier L. - Service Coordinator
Javier answers the phones that ring at 3 a.m. when a water heater fails in Canyon Country. He’s the live voice you get, no voicemail tree, no “press one for emergencies.” Before joining DryMark Restoration Santa Clarita in 2019, he worked as a dispatcher for a plumbing company and learned that the difference between a calm homeowner and a panicked one is usually sixty seconds of actual information. He schedules crews, texts ETA updates, and calls adjusters with photo documentation before they even ask. He grew up in Newhall and still lives three blocks from his grandmother, who sends tamales to the office on Fridays without warning.
Cheyenne K. - Restoration Apprentice
Cheyenne joined us in 2023 after completing a construction technology program at College of the Canyons. She’s working toward her IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) certification and currently shadows Marcus on water losses while handling demo, HEPA vacuuming, and equipment placement on her own. She asks questions that make the veterans stop and think, like why we document moisture readings at the same three points every day instead of varying the spots. She’s usually the first to notice when a homeowner’s dog is hiding under furniture and needs reassurance. She plays goalkeeper for an adult league in Castaic and has the bruises to prove it.
One Standard, Every Job

Every person on this page works under The Haven Standard, the same framework Alicia Brennan established when she founded this company in 2011. That means Haven Standard, Clause 1: a written price before any work starts, with no scope-creep additions once we’re inside your home. It means a documented photo record on every visit, included as standard, never sold as an upsell. It means the 365-Day Done Right Promise, a signed guarantee stamped on every job, not a verbal assurance that disappears with the crew.
We don’t subcontract our reputation. These are our employees, background-checked, uniformed, and named. When you call (747) 294-2725, you’ll speak to Javier or someone who sits at the same desk. When a truck rolls to your home in Stevenson Ranch or Sand Canyon, Marcus or Dana or Cheyenne will be on it. The equipment comes from the same fleet, the drying logs meet the same IICRC, RIA, and IFA documentation standards, and the invoice arrives with the photo record that turns restoration work into a payable insurance claim. That’s not marketing. That’s the job.
